Physiotherapy assessment – At Accelerate Physiotherapy, a physiotherapy assessment is a comprehensive evaluation designed to understand your unique condition and develop a personalized treatment plan. During the session, our experienced therapists will assess your posture, movement, and strength, while discussing your goals to create a clear path toward recovery and improved well-being.

Manual therapy – At Accelerate Physiotherapy, manual therapy is a hands-on treatment technique used to relieve pain, improve mobility, and restore function. Our skilled therapists use targeted movements, such as joint mobilization and soft tissue techniques, to address specific areas of concern and enhance your recovery.

Concussion management and treatment – At Accelerate Physiotherapy, concussion management and treatment focus on safely guiding your recovery through tailored assessments and evidence-based strategies. Our physiotherapists address symptoms such as dizziness, headaches, and balance issues, helping you gradually restore function and return to your daily activities with confidence.

Dry needling – Dry needling is a therapeutic technique where thin, sterile needles are inserted into tight muscles or trigger points to relieve pain, reduce tension, and improve mobility. This approach helps promote healing by stimulating blood flow and releasing muscle knots, complementing your physiotherapy treatment plan.

Therapeutic ultrasound – Therapeutic ultrasound in physiotherapy uses high-frequency sound waves to promote healing, reduce pain, and increase tissue flexibility. It is commonly used to treat soft tissue injuries, such as strains and tendonitis, by enhancing circulation and promoting cellular repair.

Interferential/TENs machine – Interferential current (IFC) is a form of electrical stimulation used in physiotherapy to reduce pain and inflammation while promoting muscle recovery. By applying two medium-frequency electrical currents that intersect, IFC targets deep tissues to improve circulation, alleviate discomfort, and enhance healing.
