Ready to book an appointment with us?
What do I need to bring to my Physiotherapy appointment?
Comfortable, loosing fitting clothes so your physiotherapist can adequately assess the problem areas. Any paperwork from your doctor/specialist related to the problem areas. Any scans and reports (including X-Rays, Ultrasounds, MRI’s, CT scans, etc.).
Do you do direct insurance billing?
Yes, at Accelerate Physiotherapy we direct bill most major insurance Providers. Please bring your insurance card with you to your first appointment if you’d like us to direct bill.
Which credit cards do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards (VISA, Mastercard, AMEX).
Do I need a referral from my doctor to see a physiotherapist?
No, you can make an appointment anytime through the book now link, no need for a doctor’s referral.
Is there parking at your clinic?
Yes, all spots in our parking lot are free.
Will I get treated during my initial assessment?
Yes, after the thorough physiotherapy assessment your physiotherapist will ask if you have any other questions and will then begin treatment.
What’s your cancelation policy?
We require minimum 24 hours notice to change/reschedule your appointment. A late cancellation or missed appointment leaves a gap in the therapists’ day that could have been filled by another patient in need of help. Patients who provide less than 24 hours notice, or miss their appointment, will be charged the full appointment fee. This fee is not covered by extended health benefit plans.
Do you accept auto insurance claims for injuires sustained during motor vehicle accidents (MVA) or Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) claims?
Yes, we accept both MVA and WSIB claims.
Is my visit covered by OHIP?
o, we do not accept OHIP because we are a private practice clinic.
