Dry needling
Dry needling is a therapeutic technique where thin, sterile needles are inserted into tight muscles or trigger points to relieve pain, reduce tension, and improve mobility.
Sports physiotherapy
Sports activities frequently lead to injuries that cause tissue damage, loss of function, pain and misalignment. Sports Injury Rehabilitation works to promote tissue repair and restoring full function in order to return to sports play in optimal health.
Post operative care
We will rehabilitate you as quickly and optimally as we can within the guidelines of the surgeon’s protocol.
Vestibular treatment
Vestibular physiotherapy is a specialized treatment aimed at reducing dizziness, vertigo, and balance issues caused by inner ear disorders. It helps restore stability and improve daily function through targeted exercises and rehabilitation techniques.
Osteoarthritis treatment
The practice of identifying and treating the sources that contribute to increased wear and tear of the arthritic joints and joint dysfunction.

What do I need to bring to my Physiotherapy appointment?
Comfortable, loose-fitting clothes so your physiotherapist can adequately assess the problem areas. Any paperwork from your doctor/specialist related to the problem areas. Any scans and reports (including X-Rays, Ultrasounds, MRI’s, CT scans, etc.).
Do you do direct insurance billing?
Yes, at Accelerate Physiotherapy we direct bill most major insurance Providers. Please bring your insurance card with you to your first appointment if you’d like us to direct bill.
Which credit cards do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards (VISA, Mastercard, AMEX).
Do I need a referral from my doctor to see a physiotherapist?
No, you can make an appointment anytime through the book now link, no need for a doctor’s referral.
Is there parking at your clinic?
Yes, all spots in our parking lot are free.
Will I get treated during my initial assessment?
Yes, after the thorough physiotherapy assessment your physiotherapist will ask if you have any other questions and will then begin treatment.
What’s your cancellation policy?
We require minimum 24 hours notice to change/reschedule your appointment. A late cancellation or missed appointment leaves a gap in the therapists’ day that could have been filled by another patient in need of help. Patients who provide less than 24 hours notice, or miss their appointment, will be charged the full appointment fee. This fee is not covered by extended health benefit plans.
Do you accept auto insurance claims for injuries sustained during motor vehicle accidents (MVA) or Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) claims?
Yes, we accept both MVA and WSIB claims.
Is my visit covered by OHIP?
No, we do not accept OHIP because we are a private practice clinic.
